Your dreams aren’t unrealistic.
They’re just waiting to be planned.
Millions of people have relied on Todoist to complete more than a billion tasks…

I wanted to help prevent drowning by distributing ultra visible bathing shorts for kids, but I first had to figure out how. I brainstormed using Todoist and, today, Long Life Shorts is a thriving nonprofit organisation with partners on three continents.
-
After a creative dry spell, I started a “renovation project” which required a lot of organization. With Todoist, every task and category fit together in a cohesive, colorful, and clear manner — and because of that, I had an inspirational plan to achieving my goals!

I raised £50,000 to help build a school in Uganda, if it had not been for Todoist reminding me of impending application deadlines, I would not have hit the target. Thanks to Todoist 290 children are getting a good education every year, Todoist has given them hope.

All throughout college, I used Todoist to keep track of all my tasks. In fall of 2016, I added one last task: “GRADUATE!” I completed that task and finally got to close the “College!” project 5 years later as the first one in my family to obtain a bachelor’s degree.

Todoist gave me and my business partner the on-task focus to scale our company from two guys in an apartment to 75 employees, $12M in venture financing, and 350+ happy enterprise customers.
-
Todoist helped me organize the creation and completion of a children’s book I made with my daughter. I’ve done a lot of big things with Todoist (including writing my own book) but that book with my daughter is a unique project I will treasure forever.

The greatest thing I achieved with Todoist is actually a seemingly small thing: Peace of mind. Through the Todoist Inbox, I transfer my tasks out of my mind into the system and care about making them actionable later. Nothing is ever lost and that’s a great thing.

I oversee the distribution of $1.5M in scholarships funds to students from our local high school– many are the first in their family to go to college. There are tons of details to manage, but with Todoist it is so much easier. I know that no one will slip through the cracks.

Being self-employed means wearing all the hats, and it’s only with Todoist’s help that I’ve been able to wrangle a borderline-functional business out of my enthusiasm for woodworking. From overarching business plans, through project management even down to reminders that I have to actually eat properly, Todoist has cheerfully born the brunt of the chaos and kept me sane.

Todoist is more than just an app: I graduated college together with Todoist, I made my first serious project at work and now it helps my business team to achieve new goals. For me, Todoist is more like a self-coach-app and a wish-come-true list <3

What's the greatest thing that I've been able to achieve with Todoist's help? How about completing a doctoral dissertation? Getting my first publication in a top academic journal? Remembering to arrange awesome play-dates for my kids? Tough competition. Maybe the greatest thing is, I now warn/promise people: “if it gets on the to-do list it’s going to get done!” It’s a warning because I’m going to hold them accountable and follow-up (Todoist will remind me). And it’s a promise I haven’t broken yet. So, the greatest thing is Todoist helping me trash-talk while getting stuff done for whoever WANTSAPIECE‘OTHIS!

Simply this: With Todoist's help, I have been able (on an almost daily basis) to be more present in the moment. With Todoist I can dump and prioritize from almost any source my to do's and clear my mind and just breathe.

The greatest thing I've achieved with Todoist is peace of mind :) Every time I get overwhelmed by so many things I have to do, I write all down in Todoist and then I can relax and start tracking tasks one by one.

Todoist helped me get through university and land my dream job. I’ve been interested in tech since I was 11. When I first discovered software development it was all I wanted to do, so I set myself the goal of becoming a Software Engineer. Ten years later, I can mark that goal as completed. Todoist helped me juggle full-time study, part-time work, and countless other projects. I achieved more than I thought possible! Now I am realising the dream I had since I was a child, all thanks to Todoist.

I am an editor of a website dealing with local history and, as such, I keep all the tasks related to my work in Todoist. Last December I was given a great award for the work I do on this webpage. This award is one of the biggest awards one can get in my town as a local historian. Without Todoist, I would never have got there.

Todoist has helped me create an amazingly serene state of mind while getting lot of shit done. It has helped me succeed at several jobs and building a voluntary organization, manage a move abroad and manage my joint life with my husband - even after having a baby last year :)

I quit my job last October. I wanted to take a break and build my own art business. Having never started a business from scratch before, it was a challenge for me. Todoist helped me break down my strategy into actionable tasks and the reminders and calendar integration helped me stay focused to meet deadlines. I now have enough clarity and fearlessness to carry this through to the next stage.

Last August, I started the process of getting my Master's degree, taking classes full time. At the same time, I was working full time with a wife and three kids. I couldn't have survived without using Todoist. I broke each syllabus up into projects and tasks, and then tagged all my reading so that I could always have a pace set. I could use my down time to read and study, while still being confident that I could use my time well for my family. What an awesome tool!

Todoist has helped me to overcome the difficulties presented by my ADHD and be successful in college. I create a project for each semester, and a sub-project for each course. Todoist allows me to quickly add the assignments from each course's syllabus and also as new assignments are given in class. I use the priority feature to make sure I can quickly see the most important things I need to do each day, and I often use sub-tasks to break large projects down into smaller pieces. Todoist has helped me be very successful—I've made the Dean's List in my college twice, and currently have an academic scholarship!
